What makes your oil more special than other hair oils?

What makes our oil special is the traditional way of infusing and the quality of the ingredients.

The rosemary is given weeks to release its active substances to the oil. As a result, the oil works deep on the scalp and hair fiber.

Not fast mass production, but a conscious formula that focuses on healthy hair growth, balance and recovery.

How should I use the oil?

Apply the oil to a dry or slightly damp scalp and gently massage in with your fingertips.

Leave on for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Wash your hair twice afterwards with a mild shampoo.

How long should I let the oil soak in?

The ideal onset time depends on your hair porosity, which determines how quickly and deeply your hair absorbs the oil.

Low porosity
Leave the oil in for 4 to 6hours

Normal porosity
Leave the oil in for 4 to 8hours.

High porosity
Leave the oil in for 1,5/3hours.

How do I know what porosity I have?

You can determine your hair porosity by watching how your hair dries in the air, without products.

Wash your hair and let it air dry completely, without oil, cream or styling.

Low porosity
Your hair stays wet for a long time and often feels cool during drying.
Products stay on the hair faster instead of pulling in. +8 hours

Normal porosity
Your hair dries gradually and evenly.
It feels soft and easily retains moisture and shine. Between 4-8 hours.

High porosity
Your hair dries very quickly, sometimes within a short time.
It can feel dry, frizzy and lose moisture quickly. Within 4 hours

This method gives a natural and reliable indication of how you absorb moisture and care for hair.

What is porosity?

Porosity says something about how open or closed your hair cuticles are.

It determines how easily your hair absorbs and retains moisture, oil and care.

Everyone has a different porosity, regardless of hair type or texture.

Why is porosity important?

Porosity plays an important role for both your hair and your scalp. It determines how well your scalp absorbs care and nutrition.

With a lower porosity, oil stays on the scalp a little longer, so you sometimes need a little less.

With a higher porosity, food is quickly absorbed and your scalp remains hydrated, but can help extra care to retain moisture.

By knowing your porosity, you can:

Use the right amount of oil

Keep your scalp in balance

Make the most of the effect of active ingredients such as rosemary and cloves

A healthy scalp forms the basis for strong, shiny and healthy hair.

How to wash my hair?

Step 1: Before washing

If you used a scalp oil, make sure it has been applied to a dry scalp and massaged gently.
This helps stimulate blood circulation and allows the active ingredients to work effectively.

Step 2: Wet your hair thoroughly

Use lukewarm water, never hot.
Warm water helps loosen oil, buildup and impurities without irritating the scalp or stripping it.

Make sure your scalp is fully wet before applying shampoo.

Step 3: First cleanse (oil removal)

Apply a mild, sulfate-free shampoo mainly to the scalp, not the lengths.

Massage gently using your fingertips (not your nails).
This first wash:

  • Loosens oil and product buildup
  • Cleanses the scalp surface
  • Prepares the scalp for a deeper cleanse

Rinse thoroughly.

Step 4: Second cleanse (deep scalp cleanse)

Apply shampoo again, this time using less product.

Focus on the scalp and let the foam run through the lengths naturally.

This second wash:

  • Truly cleanses the scalp
  • Helps prevent clogged follicles
  • Supports a healthy hair growth environment

Rinse well.

Double cleansing is essential after using scalp oils.

Step 5: Condition the lengths only

Apply conditioner or mask only from mid-lengths to ends.

Avoid the scalp to prevent:

  • Buildup
  • Weighed-down roots
  • Reduced follicle oxygenation

Leave in as directed and rinse thoroughly.

Step 6: After washing

Gently squeeze excess water out of your hair using a soft towel or cotton t-shirt.
Avoid rubbing.

Let hair air-dry or use a blow dryer on low heat.

How often should you wash your hair?

This depends on your scalp type and porosity:

  • Oily or low-porosity scalp: every 2–3 days
  • Normal scalp: every 3–4 days
  • Dry or high-porosity scalp: every 4–5 days

Regular cleansing keeps follicles clear and supports consistent hair growth.
